This is a high quality item, as to be expected from Blue Sea Systems,However, I ended up returning the item due to the product dimensions listed being incorrect. The actual panel is smaller than listed.From the dimensional drawing PDF that can be found on Blue Sea's website:Overall panel width: 5.02 in, height: 2.33 in, and depth from back of face-plate: 2.47"

This is true quality. The other cheap China stuff is cheap. If you want to do it right get Blue Sea components.

I originally bought a cheaper “knock off” version. I figured I’d get a higher quality one. The Blue Sea fit the bill! Comes with a template to cut and it was simple. And it was a little nerve-racking, cutting into my truck bed on my Tacoma, but the thing is worth it.

Great unit. Like the lit switch. We installed it on our sailboat so we could plug in a portable freezer and for charging phones/electronics. May have to buy another one!

This comes mostly setup for a DIY project.I installed this in the bed of my truck. When doing it properly, you’ll have the fuse closer to the battery, not the outlet. And they have both USB and 12v outlet fused with a 2A fuse. So if you’d like to use it for more than what it came with, there may be some parts that would need to be changed around.
