I had one of these snaps already that came from an old, dead lead rope and I wanted a second one to use on my cross ties. I was a little worried that a replacement one wouldn't be exactly the same as the one I already had and if it were any smaller it wouldn't be able to close on the rings welded onto my cross tie posts. However, it is indistinguishable from the one I already had and works great. Shipping took a while, since it shipped from China, but was worth it.
