This Part was wrong from the start. Did not fit easily on to the mower. The rope broke 4 time and the last time it hurt my hand. This product is dangerous and should be taken off the market.

Rope housing doesn’t fit firmly on the motor and this allows the rope, which is smaller than the original rope to slip out and get caught. Thus it doesn’t recoil. Picture shows rope not recoiled and caught on the motor. This was on the second pull.

Didn't come complete. Was missing the lugs to engage tye flywheel, so literally not a starter.Although listed as fitting my Briggs engine and thus the reason I ordered it, was dimensionally not the correct size to fit.Was just slightly too large to fit properly onto engine.

I'd give it a 5 star but the rope didn't completely wind up out of the box. Not a huge deal as all I had to do is pull rope all the way out, rewind the spring tight, back off by one turn, then let the assembly rewind the rope.

Product looked great, easy to install.. Fit exact model listed on description, but cord frayed after approximately 20 pulls (10 lawn cuts).. I never give reviews, but this was annoying.. Especially after breaking in the middle of mowing
