There aren't a lot of options for listening to your old cassette tapes in a portable unit anymore. And while back in the day, old folks like us, used to go everywhere with our "Walkman"! And it was a pain trying to listen to your favorite song twice in a row. Because it usually took about 40seconds + to rewind the tape. But the sound of those tapes was so much nicer than digital. And while we have all become used to it now. The analog sound of a cassette or vinyl, just can't be beat. It is a trust sound. Now this player is a great version of an old technology. And has new features to make it even better. Like BT.The player comes with a set of wired headphones as an option. And a charge cable/USB connector, where you can also transfer your tapes to laptop. And with BT, you can connect your favorite earbuds to the device. And absolutely love the sound the way intended. It has auto continue, to play the both sides of the cassette. And a very nice head system that lessons wear on your ribbon. While I still have several hundred cassettes from years ago, I have thoroughly enjoyed hours of my old tapes in my car, at work, and writing this now!The quality decent. While not a heavy, solid "Walkman". It is a lightweight, modern version, with modern, lightweight materials. And has played all of my raoes without damaging any of them. So I am very happy with this little unit. And it is a very reasonable price point as well.

Found some old cassette tapes around the house and wasn't sure what was on them. Completely forgot I had these so I haven't had a tape player around the house for years. Decided to give this a try.The player does exactly what it says it does. Put the tape in, press play and listen ... just like a tape is supposed to be listened to. On a "walkman" type player, with wired headphones. The sound is as decent as I remember tapes to be, so very pleased with this.Just inside the cover where the tape goes is a slot for two AA batteries. It can also be powered by charging cable, but I found that drained even without the player playing. I think it kept hunting for the bluetooth.I didn't try pairing it with bluetooth because I figured if I'm going old school with a tape player, I should go all the way.Overall, pleased with this & it did exactly what I expected it to.
