I have bought a bunch of these claim to be walkmans different brands and every one has not worked properly. Whether it be a headphone jack or tuner issues ect or with this Emerson EPC-1000 it shuts off when it moves around. The batteries seem like there making contact but when I press down just to the right of the battery compartment it shuts off then I hit it and it comes back on YIKES! I think I will take it apart and rebuild it the American way SO IT WORKS!! Honestly its a crap shoot with what unit you will get. I'm going back to Singing and talking to myself it always works and it doesn't cost a dime.
