Adding this extension positioned the dongle above the top of my monitor. I was subsequently able to walk the 60' from my front door to the street without losing the connection.

I moved to a new house and my wireless headset would lose connection as soon as I stepped across the hall from my office, which made it impossible to run to the kitchen for coffee or to pop lunch in the microwave while on a call. I was doubtful this device would work, but it did!

I feel like a total sucker buying this. It’s not a Bluetooth Extender, it is an USB extension cord, and it’s not even USB-3? This can be had on Amazon for $4.64 with a fifteen-cent clip, this is a S.C.A.M if you ask me. The video says this performs similar to a cell phone tower, this is more like a string between two tin cans like when we were kids. Looking at the vendors store it would seem to find a product, give it a great presentation, and mark it the heck up. Looking at other products they sell, this is exactly what they do. A PVFB825 headset that sells for $135 they sell for $265. Don’t be fooled, this an extension cord, that’s it. Shame on you Global Teck.

The product "GTW Blue Beacon Bluetooth Extender" which I am reviewing on 17 April 2023 is marketed in a misleading way. This is just a USB-A extension cable, plus a little plastic clip for to aid in mounting, presumably with a user-supplied Bluetooth dongle. By itself, this cable cannot meet the claims made by its listing, such as "Better Keyboard Connectivity!" and "Better Gaming Experience". Conceivably, using this cable in conjunction with a (not supplied) Bluetooth dongle with a USB-A interface could result in improved Bluetooth performance. Taken for what it is, there are plenty of competing products in endless varieties of form factors and price points. If what you need is a USB extender, this would be an expensive choice. I dock this review 3 stars for its lack of value and deceptive marketing. The remaining 2 stars represent the fact that it does indeed function as a USB extender. Not recommended.

Very deceptive marketing....this is nothing more than a cable for you to plug in YOUR blue-tooth dongle.

While I appreciate the effort to solve a common problem , this is really a USB extender and not a signal booster. It worked to marginally increase my range but going through walls requires a boost and not just an antenna. The vendor did refund me so am rating 4-stars for small business with good customer care.
