I bought this set for my new camcorder Panasonic HC-VX981. At first glance, the battery fits perfectly in the camcorder's battery socket, but apparently, camcorder doesn't accept it. Upon switching on with this battery inserted, it shows a message like "the device is not going to work with this battery", and then automatically switches off.Maybe, other devices work with these batteries OK, I don't know. But definitely, Panasonic HC-VX981 looks like requires a Panasonic genuine battery to work OK. Please keep it in mind.

I purchased the BM 2 VW-VBT380 Batteries and Dual Charger for my Panasonic camcorder and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The batteries are reliable and quick to charge through the included dual charger, and they last for a surprisingly long time despite their small size. The design is also very sturdy, with rubberized exteriors making them feel secure in my hand. They slot into place on my Panasonic without hesitation, providing power without issue.I haven't had to replace any of the batteries in months, even with my increased filming schedule, and that's thanks to the quality of the BM 2 VW-VBT380 Batteries and Dual Charger. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for reliable and well-priced power solutions for their Panasonic camcorder.

Of the three brands of extended life batteries I have used for my Panasonic video camera, these ones rank third. The battery life difference is not huge but it is noticeable. The biggest problem with these batteries is that they don't fit tightly in the camera. As a result, any quick movement causes the battery to lose contact with the camera and it shuts off. So if you hold really still, then the batteries work.The charger was nothing special. It worked. The batteries had the same issue with the charger in that they might come loose and stop charging if, for example, you are using your charger in a vehicle.Overall, I would never buy this brand again. One of the two batteries fits so poorly that I only keep it as an emergency standby along with a couple of shims cut out of business cards. Even with the shims, it has still lost contact when I've moved the camera too quickly.
