I purchase this for my 2008 328i coupe. My original windshield molding was peeling, cracking, and had sun damage. After looking online I saw that it could be replaced at home. There are a few videos online that give good instructions. The best part is that the windshield doesn't need to be removed. Everything fit flush and looks oem. Overall the process took about an hour, this part was also cheaper than the other parts sites I looked.

The reason I don't give five stars is because I had to add silicone on both top corners.,the product comes with glue around it but nothing on corners ...bmw 2008 328i convertible.

Not only it says in the top windshield but can you get the sides as well it fits the windshield great value for the money and it's BMW fit e92 328i perfectly I didn't put 5 stars on the adhesion by accident but I should have

This solved my issue with the common BMW e90/e92 upper windshield weather moulding drying out and crumbling issue that many recent model BMW's suffer from.I rated it 5 star for ease of install because for me, it didn't require more than buying Goo Gone, using dash trim pulling tool I already had and a set of small pliers (to help with one corner that wasn't coming out easily with just my fingers). I was able to get the old one off and cleaned up before installing the new one myself in about an hour. I consider that easy and successful since I didn't do any harm to the actual car either (that's always a win).I rated it 5 star for adhesion because it appears to be holding well at least a couple of weeks in (presumably it will hold as well as the original including rot just as quickly since it's OEM).I rated it 5 star for Value for money, because while it did cost me $50, it was still cheaper than taking it to a shop and having them install it to the tune of likely 3 times that cost. Also I had done similar/related repairs with weather mouldings in my prior Nissan, and $50 after shipping is simply WAY cheaper than $250 for only one side, so...it's based on perspective and prior experience with similar ordeals.Of course if it only lasts another 5 years, one could argue the Value for money shouldn't really be rated at 5 stars, but only time will tell, and by then I may no longer even have the car.

Product was shipped promptly and packaged carefully to prevent potential damage or twisting of the molding. Quality was definitely OEM spec and installation was simple, I used a plastic trim remover to aid in installation to prevent marring of the molding. Great product, fits my BMW E92 and will definitely buy again if a replacement is needed but it should be good for a couple more years.

Needed a new windshield molding for a 2008 e92 m3. Called a windshield repair company to have this done the price and labor was ridiculous. So I just ordered this part, which came to my house in a couple days. I put a youtube video on my phone and just knocked it out. Took me less than an hour to install.
