I bought these to replace the posts on the bottom "story" of the Amazon 2 story + round bed story cat tree that is popular. Those posts last about three times as long as these, but unfortunately Amazon doesn't sell replacements for their cat tree.

These are good quality and don't make a compete mess when scratched. No chemical smell (no odor at all) and were a direct replacement.

Love these! They worked great to replace the legs on my cat tree. The rest of the cat tree was in good shape but my cat had really scratched the bottom legs to death. I ordered these in white and they match my beige cat tree perfectly. My cat was scratching them again within minutes.

But my wife loves her cat. As far as cats go, he is pretty cool. He tore up the ropes off his cat tower that's cooler than any fort I ever had as a kid. Instead of just re-wrapping with rope, my wife decided to replace the post altogether. Good call! These things are sturdy and were a great replacement for the original posts. The hardware was different size, so we had to adjust accordingly.

Fits and works purrfectly. My cat's love to rip it apart. I got about 3 years with the original. Holding up very good. Pay attention to your screw size.

True to size, black is a darkish grey which goes well with the light grey cat tree posts I am replacing. Holding up well so far with two cats. Happy with purchase.

Love the durability of these replacement sisal posts for our cat tree. Easy to install in our existing structure. Our two cats had pretty much destroyed the original posts and replacing them was so much more reasonable than buying yet another cat condo! Great quality and the cats have been enjoying their new posts! Win:Win!
