This is a decent little timer relay. Timing is spot on and takes up very little room on the DIN rail. I had an external timer originally and ran wires to my charging circuit but now this does away with a lot of messy wiring. Overall, good little timer.

I got this for my nephew to use with his railroad crossing lights. We put half the lights on one NO circuit, and one half on the NC circuit. He can play with the timing to get the exact sequence he wants. At the same time he is learning more about electronics and machine control. This timer is simple to use and a lot of fun for hobbies and experimentation.

For the cost this is a great multi-function timing relay. There are ten different timing options to choose from, with the timer being programmable from 0.1s to 10 days, or always on / always off. Testing this on the bench I found the timing ranges to be very accurate. As an example operating in mode A, setting the timer range to ten minutes and the timer adjustment to 50% resulted in the relay energizing five minutes after energizing the timer relay. The relay behavior acted as expected in all operating modes. For projects or applications that require a timing relay, this is a great option.

Elementary circuit logic controller - good quality and construction. Will last for years in a cool, dry place. Great customer support. Add to any AC circuit for timer functions. Would recommend.

This arrived from the vendor covered by a bubble envelop then inside was a plain cardboard box with the relay just inside with no further protection. They did include an instruction sheet inside as well.I got this for future projects, as these have so many options it can be used for counting time up or down to stop a process after a time period or wait for a time period to start a process, etc. There are other options (enough to need a fairly complex diagram) & it can be used over a wide range of voltages. One use we may employ is to prevent a water pump from burning out if a water line or joint breaks. Typically our water pump would come on & run about 30 seconds. If a line broke, it would pump all our saved water out or burn itself out or both. Engaging a timer like this, it would sense the pump running, count down to say 1 minute, then disrupt the circuit to stop the water pumping. The circuits can be self-resetting (a pump switch is calling for water so it would keep running a minute, turn off for your set time, go again, in a loop) or absolute stop where you’d have to manually re-set by disrupting the relay power to start a new cycle. So you see, it’s a powerful versatile switch, that can accommodate many scenarios. This looks well made, is designed to mount on a din rail. I’d put it on a short din rail in a waterproof box.

We have a well on our property that we use for our RV. We normally shut valves and power off when we leave for any period of time. My biggest fear is if we forget something, and something starts leaking. I don't want the RV or anything else flooding if a leak occurs. If a leak happens or a pipe breaks then the pump would turn on and continue run and pump water continuously until it's turned off automatically. So I am going to use a 230v/24v HVAC transformer wired after the well pump pressure switch. The transformer will power up when the pressure switch calls for the pump. The transformer will power this relay, and then the relay will run to a 230v/24v contactor sending power to the pump. The relay will be set to 30 min, meaning if the relay has power for 30 min, it will time itself out and turn off the pump. This will give me piece of mind knowing the pump will not run 24/7 if unattended. I really like that we can set the relay for whatever run time we desire if 30 min is too long or too short.

I used this to control an 8 amp fan. Just with the turn of a screw, you can set in time or off time. This relay also mount securely on 34mm track. It can slide if you apply some force, but it will stay in place if just tilted.,(track was not included). I love this relay and its mounting system. It really cleans up a project. 5/5 stars

I was really impressed with this din rail mount time delay relay. The versatility of voltage input, and timing functions make this on par with the Allan Bradley Bulletin 700 -HR52TA17. The major difference here is that the Allan Bradley requires a special circular pin mounting block. I like the fact that the Good BNTai BNT31 comes with both a power on indicator light and a red trigger indicator light. The only thing that I don't like is the way that the time dial is split into two different functions. One function is the time itself divided into ones and tens further divided by seconds, hours, and days. The second dial is a percentage of that time which in my opinion can get a bit confusing. Most people just don't like dealing with percentages, they would rather see "whole numbers". The package is very compact and will easily fit into a crowded electrical cabinet with minimal width so as not to hog space on your din rail.

The quality feels like something from the dollar store. There's no chance I could feel safe running any amount of amps through this. All it is, is an overpriced timer. I cannot recommend this with a good conscious.
