SKIPPER SEAT FAMILY
Hi, I'm Stephanie from the beautiful Lake Norman, North Carolina. We love to spend family time on our boat as much as possible. Are you wondering how the Skipper Seat came about? Let me tell you!
Vinyl boat seats are hot and sticky, and my husband would protest all mid-day boat rides in the hot sun. I would try to wrap a towel around his seat, tuck it, strap it, and try anything to keep it in place. No matter what, the towel would always fly off or not stay in place.
So, for Father’s Day 2020, I made him the very first Skipper Seat with my sewing machine. It has been a long journey of overcoming challenges and modifications to get a cover that would be flexible enough to fit different manufacturers' captain’s chairs. However, it has been a fun journey that we have taken as a family, and we are excited for others to enjoy the comfort of the Skipper Seat!
But that's not all!
We also found that they work perfectly on our car seats. They protect our seats from sand, dirt, water, and even our pets! After a long, fun day on the lake, we love to take them off the boat and into the car for all-around comfort and protection. The Skipper Seat is truly versatile, making every adventure more comfortable and fun.

This looks great with its bright colors and parrots and is easily noticeable. It does its primary job of covering the seats in the boat to make them easier to sit on on hot days and covering up prior sun damage on my used boat. The material is a lightweight Terry cloth so it dries quickly but also remains to be seen how long they’ll last. For now I’ll give it 4 stars instead of 5 solely because the cloth isn’t very thick.

Short of getting a custom made seat cover, these are pretty good. Thin breathable synthetic, no padding. The pattern is a bit wild but at least it's got that tropical vibe. Since the are microfiber they won't protect against water but are breathable so won't cause mildew/rot either. Basically I'm covering stains on old vinyl seats and they do the trick.

I was trying to use a towel on the new Tritoon captain's seat but the seat is just to big. After lots of research I settled on this one and it fits perfectly. Very soft and comfortable. Highly recommend. No more sticking to the vinal.
