Not made of hard plastic so less chance for hinges to break.Its easy to see the colored thread on different bobbins through the closed lid which protects the threads from dust and lint.

These bobbin cases are a must to keep your bobbins organized, neat and tidy. I do a LOT of sewing for a church group, so I wind at least a dozen bobbins of the same color at a time so that my sewing is not interrupted while I'm on a roll and sewing a lot of the same color. These boxes are a steal! They come 2 in a pack at a great price! Will be placing another order for them!

I have 2 sewing machines that do not use same bobbins! These boxes keep them organized and I am not frustrated anymore!

Works as expected. Each space will hold a bobbin and bobbin clip, if the bobbin is very full it’s pretty tight though and may take some fiddling to get it sitting just right. Plastic is not so hard that I worry about it shattering if dropped.

I have already filled these with full and empty bobbins. I had no idea I had so many bobbins until I started gathering them together. These boxes are very sturdy and snap together firmly. I dropped a full one and it didn't pop open thankfully. I will have to buy more because I still have more bobbins that need a home.

These are the first bobbin boxes I have owned that are sturdy. The lids are hinged so they do not keep slipping onto the floor and cracking. The base holding the bobbins is very sturdy, and I am delighted. Incidentlly, I have sewn for over sixty years.
