I have a 17-year-old Frigidaire microwave that works perfectly, but occasionally an internal safety microswitch will fail. They're fairly easy to replace, so it's good to keep a few on hand so that the microwave can be put back into service in a few minutes vs. several days having to wait for parts. The part itself fits and works as expected.

These are great little switches and work as good as the OEM switches I replaced. I recommend them.THe switches come in "Normally Open" and "Normally Closed", you have to know which to order. Your old switch will show you this on a little photo on the switch or in writing. or "NO" or "NC".

Replacing this door switch is on possible fix if you microwave is tripping the breaker, or blowing the internal fuse when you hit start. For ours, it is the normally closed switch that went out. The replacement here worked well, but it only lasted 1.5 years. Then the same symptom. At least these switches are sold in two packs. I used the second one to repair the microwave again. Search online for a video on replacing these switches. It is easy enough. I'll keep swapping these out when they die every year or two if needed, rather than buy a new microwave.

I don't like micro-switches being used in garden tools, because they seem to wear out too soon. However, this was an exact fit and a simple replacement for my Greenworks electric string trimmer.Be sure to order the correct replacement ... normally-open OR normally-closed. To check, simply compare your faulty switch to the attached picture.

This product did it's job when it came to replacing my old faulty door switches on my microwave. My microwave recently went out a couple months ago and after a couple YouTube videos and guides online I was able to isolate my problem order this product swap it out and it worked like new again! I'm glad I came across this product and it was shipped in working condition so I did not have to replace my whole microwave!
