Your cart is empty.Prized for its use in tomato paste and sauces, Roma produces a large harvest of thick-walled, meaty, bright red, egg-shaped tomatoes about 3 inches long and with few seeds. This tomato is not juicy. This is not a slicing tomato. Instead, the flesh is thick and drier so that it will cook down into a thick sauce. Cooking intensifies flavor, too. If you can tomatoes, make your own spaghetti sauce, or like to chop a tomato into an omelet, this is a great choice. It’s not too juicy in the pan compared to slicing tomatoes. The fruit freezes well for later cooking, too.

When I carefully took out plants from package , most of the bottom leaves just fell off. They were still fresh green-looking, but curled. Majority of remaining leaves are curled. With 50+ years of gardening, I will attempt to save but have never seen this. A refund would be appropriate.

I reordered these this year cuz they were so fantastic last year. I planted the plants in barrels on the south side of the house. They grew to approx 4 feet in height and gave a very good supply of super sweet tomatoes. This year, I ordered 4 plants. They arrived in excellent condition. Looking forward to some delicious snacking.

Wow, Wow, Wow, This vendor ought to be highlighted. I have ordered plants from this farm, and always, always, they come through. I have these planted and just a short period of time, they are producing fruit. Great Price, Great shipping. If I could give 10 stars I would

I waited several months after planting these to review so I would have a full picture of the plant’s production and here’s my call:These are amazing!I’m never buying seeds again and I’m going to get these live starters instead every year. They came packaged securely and took root immediately. No problems whatsoever.I’m getting ripe cherry tomatoes every day! They are producing SO MANY delicious, deep red, super sweet tomatoes. As a tomato lover, I’m in heaven!Great value for the money and they’ve already paid for themselves many times over. With grocery costs being so high, they were a fantastic investment.I even accidentally overwatered them and the plants bounced back very quickly. Super healthy little guys!I’m just over the moon with these and I’m definitely going to get them every year.I’ll post a pic as soon as I remember to get one.(Note on soil: I used just a basic indoor/outdoor potting soil from the hardware store and they loved it. Super hardy little plants.)

I purchased (4) four-packs of different varieties. Shown are rows of (front to back) Bush Goliath, Roma, Better Boy and Husky Cherry. Packed very well in individual greenhouse containers, four to a box. Varying stages of growth, some with blossoms already. Only one of 16 growing stems was broken off. They all seemed a bit limp, and many growing tips had bent over and we’re seeking light as if they’d been packed in the green containers quite a while. They’re soaking now, I’ll plant tomorrow! I’ll update on growth and production.
