The hook keepers themselves are great, unfortunately, the o-rings are the weak link. The o-rings go on just fine but snap after a few days of the hook keeper being on the fishing rod with no tension on the hook keeper. I've lost a few o-rings& hook keepers this reason. Again, great hook keeper but inferior quality o-rings!

They work great, but you're going to want to replace the O rings. I installed them on a few of my rods, and by the end of the day they had fallen off because the O ring broke. At first I thought it was me, but one of the rods was still in the rod locker. I reinstalled and the same thing happened, so I got new rubber O rings and they are fine.

Pieces were smaller than thought they would be. The o-rings used to hold them not durable last 2-3 days before breaking. That's with no tension placed on them from a hook and line

Can be used by slipping hook through a resting hole on top o by slipping the hook under the bottom

I do not recommend this product. The bands they send to hold the hook keeper to the rod are junk. I install them on my rods 2 days later I get ready to go fishing and several of the bands are broken a laying in the bottom of the boat. Boat is under a carport so not exposed to the son. I have had to replace every band at least once.

Good product and serves the purpose. I have several rods that have a keeper under the reel. I am unable to put the rods in a rod holder with a lure in the keeper. These solved that problem, protecting my guides from having to hook lures to them. Would give 5 stars but the o-rings all began to break after about 2 weeks. Used small zip ties instead and now they are solid.
