Bought both parts and became dull way faster than original, should have cut ten times more than it did. We used our original for over 5 years, not every day but about 8 times a year. This one lasted 2 days and was dull, very disappointed.

I am a remodeling contractor who will occasionally install a metal roof for a customer. The thickest metal I cut with this tool is 29 gauge steel. After the original punch dulled, I purchased a replacement and also made sure to lubricate the cutting path while using the nibbler. Still, after three metal roof jobs it's time for another replacement. The nibbler itself is expensive, and I feel these punches are overpriced for how long they last.

Product lasted about 5 ft. of cutting 26 guage sheet metal before it dulled and wouldn't cut anymore!!!
