I bought this tpms sensor for my Ford Explorer but unfortunately, it doesn't work for me because it has to be programmed with a special tool which I don't have. If you are thinking of buying this sensor and installing by yourself, I recommend that you first find out if you have access to the necessary programming tool because otherwise you won't be able to program it and you will end up wasting time and money and you will have to take your car to a specialized workshop to have the installation and programming work done which in most cases costs anything in between $80 and $160 just for the programming and/or installing of a single tpms sensor.

It works for my Toyota Tacoma. I mounted it and at first it didn't register. None of the tires would show up with any pressure in the tires. I contacted the seller, who said it has to be programmed to the vehicle. I took it to a local tire shop, and they progremmed it in one minute. All read out now.

Purchased one and installed on Mazda which self programs. Kept reading 0 psi. Purchased another one and it never linked to the car. Purchased another manufacturer and it linked in 2 minutes. This thing was a complete waste of money and I am kicking myself for buying 2. Stay away and look elsewhere.

After using Autel and having nothing but issues, I tried these and they worked great.
