Works great with solar. Put your kid or dog next to it on test mode with full RPM for a good laugh.

I feeder 2 tons of corn every winter and have switched over to this product. These units are super heavy duty with large 12 volt automotive motors. The timers so far have proved to be reliable in the Canadian winter but hopefully will be reliable for years to come. Have also added the Boss Buck solar panel to my feeders so there is always fully charged batteries. . Takes a bit of patience to get the amount of corn I want to dispense but once set up properly you can virtually forget about the feeder.

Took one look at the box and had my doubts.Product was bent up when opened. Had to adjust arms by hand and the motor fasteners were both loose to the point of severe vibration when the motor was activated.Overall, needed the feeder but quality poor and price was high for these issues.

I went from the three way head gravity feeder from Boss Buck to the Boss Buck Auto Feeder Conversion Kit. With the three head feeder I was filling the feeder up every two week with 200 lbs feed due to the squirrels and raccoons climbing on and inside the feeder to rake the feed to the ground. Since the auto feeder the feeder stay full for the pass month. The auto feeder works great. Happy customer...
