purchasing process and delivery were fine. nice looking clamps, as appearance was important to me on my aquarium hoses, but a lot of these clamps stripped when I was trying to tighten them, and I did not open them too far as they were going on a 3/4" hose. I would probably not purchase again

I used these for the intake hose on a small carburetor. I wanted more narrow, automotive style with the raised teeth but these worked find & look nice. The screw action is smooth on these & they easily fit & clamped tight to my 40mm pipes. The black coating is uniform & did not flake or scratch from tools but the thin edges of the straps look a bit shiny like they may have scaped together in the box.

Ordered 6 pieces of 4" black hose clamps. The first time around I received a package with 4 clamps. Figured this was an accident so ordered again and this time I received a package with 3 clamps. ??? The SKUs on both packages are the same, so I dont' know what's wrong with this seller but clearly there's something going on.In terms of the actual clamps, they all measure slightly smaller than 4", so if you need a legit 4" clamp these are not for you. As well, the black is clearly painted on and will quickly flake off if this is something you frequently need to remove. Most of them also hard a hard time backing off and caused the worm gear to back out instead of loosening the clamp.

I needed hose clamps that were stainless steel and strong. I am extremely happy with the quality of these clamps and also the amount you get for the price. They are made very well, are strong, like the black finish and also are easy to tighten. I used a socket to tighten mine, but you can use a screwdriver also. I was able to put a lot of torque on these and they did not strip. You can unwind it if you need to wrap it around and then tighten, it starts back in easily.
