Perfect for incubating rare breeds and highly valuable eggs this 24-egg incubator provides the convenience of programmable automatic turning with the reassurance of digital alarms and integral automatic control of humidity. The new Maxi 24 EX is menu driven and extremely easy to use. In normal operation the display shows incubation temperature, humidity and turning status. Opening the menu allows the user to adjust incubation temperature, the unit °C or °F, incubation humidity %RH, turning interval down to a minimum of 5 minutes ideal for parrots, turning angle, cooling duration and high and low temperature alarm limits. Humidity is accurately controlled: just program the desired humidity level, keep the external humidity pump reservoir (not provided) topped up and the incubator does the rest. Eggs are turned by rotating egg quadrants. Four sets are supplied, one for 24 medium chicken eggs, one for 12 large chicken, duck or turkey eggs, one for 40 small quail eggs and one for 8 extra large eggs like goose. The clear walls of the egg chamber mean fantastic visibility of the hatching eggs without lifting the lid and the fan assisted design coupled with detailed airflow analysis results in exceptionally even heating of the eggs to ensure consistent and reliable hatches. Like all Brinsea products the Maxi 24 EX egg incubator comes with a 3-year warranty subject to registration.

This is a well made incubator. The electronics are very accurate.Only unfortunate part is I couldn't get any support from the manufacturer concerning the availability of larger egg discs.

This incubator is fantastic!! I bought a cheap incubator and it failed on 2 rounds of eggs. I used a digital thermometer and temps were swinging wildly. That will kill every peep. Brinsea is top of the line.

I was fighting humidity control on a cheap no name incubator which was leading to less than ideal hatch rates. After purchasing this Brinsea there was a noticeable change for the positive. Checking the humidity and temperate control out of the box using a calibrated temperature monitor and hygrometer shows it is highly accurate. I tested the recovery rate of the humidity control and it operates very efficiently given the simplicity of the pump system. This is definitely not the cheapest option out there but the quality in design is evident and the stress free use makes up for it in my case.

This has been worth its weight in gold! We've hatched out so many parrot chicks in this little incubator and just love the maintenance of heat and humidity. Easy to set up and clean. Good customer service. I wish it was a bit larger, but it's been terrific.

This is a great beginner incubator for school project or for small home chicken coup. It works great. The directions for it are better on the amazon web site then what come in the box. The directions in box are terrible. So you know in advance for beginners, you have to put the tubbing in a cup of water. Don't add water to the inside of the incubator, it will draw the water up into the incubator it's self.

I loved this incubator. Very easy to use and seemed to be very accurate. I especially liked the automatic humidity control. Started with 12 turkey eggs. Two weren't viable. The ten remainder ALL hatched. Everything was perfect until the lockdown and the humidity was increased. The digital display fogged up and was unreadable (hence the 3 star review). I didn't read anybody having that problem so hopefully it was a small defect. I returned the incubator. I purchased the ovation 28EX and if this one doesn't fog up I plan on getting more Brinsea incubators.

I'm new to incubating eggs and this incubator is pretty easy to set up - just follow the instructions. You'll want to make sure that you have the specific temps and humidity level # for the type of eggs you're wanting to hatch (I'm doing turkey eggs). This is all automatic, except when it's time to prep the eggs for hatching. At that time the turning disc will need to be removed and turning function turned off and the hatching mat put in place. The unfortunate thing is that this unit only comes with one hatching mat. This is a nice incubator although a bit spendy, but it is worth it.
