These are adorable & put off good light as you can see. They are a good value for the money & the charge lasts all night. I'm not sure they would survive a fall. They are made out of what feels like plastic & extremely light. I love the light that come off them

My pair are on 8' polls and sorry but I believe they look lost on those polls. I went looking for something else and I am still looking. I hate to say it, but this is not rocket science. It's outdoors on a poll and it lights up, and these lanterns need to be seen they need to look as though they belong there on that poll. All of these small lanterns they are making they need a redo. Everyone is making them for some reason in these small sizes. The only thing these are good for is in groups of 2-8 for the sidewalk. Don't buy them for the shepherds polls they are too small and they look ridiculous. As far as these two Lanterns are concerned, they are nice and light up very pretty on the sidewalk in the evening.

These little lanterns are perfect for ambient patterned light on my patio. They're durable and have withstood high winds and even a recent hail storm. I'll put them away for the winter but feel confident they'll be working again next spring.
