I purchased this to replace it with the same that I had for 20 plus years. I did need an electrician to adapt it to 750. it comes from the factory set at 1400 . I have a very old house and not enough power to keep it with the factory setting. I really like this unit. The newer one seems a bit quieter. It heats the area quickly. I missed it when it broke. I set the thermostat on a lower setting and it will maintain it during the night. I do recommend it. No heat up time, starts right up

Good quality, installed easily and works well but it’s not very quiet, not too bad for a bathroom but it would definitely be too loud in a living area.

The heater is clean and works well.It is very noisy though.I had to lower the room temperature in order to keep it quiet.

This little guy puts out a decent amount of heat, out-performing a larger Cadet heater that had been in the same space until it failed. The instructions were a little challenging for me to track with at first, but once I started actually doing it they made sense as I went along and I was able to wire it up with no issues. As other reviewers have noted, this thing is pretty loud - it's not obnoxiously loud in my opinion, but you will definitely never find yourself wondering whether or not it is on. Overall the instructions could have been a little easier to follow and it is pretty noisy; but it is outstanding for the price and exceeds my expectations in terms of performance, and thus is a five-star item in by book.

We installed this during a bathroom renovation. I had an electrician wire it so can't comment on the wiring, but he had no complaints and did it rather quickly. As for the heater's function it is fairly quiet, just a low hum when in operation that is barely audible from 10 feet away. I had concerns about noise/rattling from reading other reviews but this was not my experience. So far have only used it in the spring a few times, but on low it was perfectly capable of adding some heat to our ~100 sqft bathroom, so I have no doubt that it will be able to keep up in winter on a higher setting. My plan is to just find a decent setting and leave the thermostat set there for the season. Although the thermostat does not have numbers, one can easily just set it at different levels and measure/feel the air temperature in the room to find a good setting. My one complaint about this unit is minor, and in regard to the cutout for placing this under the cabinet. As you can see from the image the top edge of the unit has no overlap with the cabinet fascia like the sides do. Therefore one must be EXACT when measuring and cutting in regard to this dimension, otherwise a gap will be visible.

After installing the first heater I got a second to replace two heaters in my 37yr old RV.Working well and easily fit into the space available, after I shortened the opening left from the old heater. The conversion from 220v to 110v was simple enough (watch the video from the QR and read the included instructions). I don't know why the instructions don't have you remove the red light you disconnect during conversion. I did on the second install.Sound is not so bad. What do you expect from a fan driven forced air heater in a metal box.

This fit well into the space between the stairs and it's kicking out good heat at 208V. Needed an upgraded thermostat to accommodate 3 heaters drawing 4000 Watts. Runs at about 50 decibels, the sound of an office/conversation. Puts out good heat.

This item works great. It smells a bit being a brand new motor, when you first turn it on. It heats very well in small spaces. And the price was great. bought this to replace a toe kick heater under my bathroom vanity when the blower motor quit working in it after 40 years. (I already had the 220 thermostat on the wall so i only bought the unit.) It is slightly smaller than the original 1970's unit but otherwise pretty close.I bought for around $80. Amazon listed it under the regular priced units as a working unit with only damaged shipping package, previously returned. When I got it, the box had some moderate indentations but the unit was brand new and undamaged and it works great.I'm glad I found it.

A l’air de bien fonctionner! Vient de l’installer mais pas encore passé un hiver. Ne fait pas de bruit, contrairement à d’autres commentaires que j’ai lue. Posé au bas de l’armoire de cuisine.

I purchased the Broan 114 for two places in my home and returned one because it didn't fit. I then purchased a King KT2415-MW-W 240V (also on Amazon) because it was going to fit the other space better (two different rooms). Well in comparison, the King way out performs the Broan. King is MUCH faster to heat up, MUCH quieter (makes half the noise), and is smaller, fitting the space easily. Honestly the comparison isn't even close. If I had known what I know now (electricians paid to install both and thermostats), I would order King unit for both. The Broan takes a lot of time to start producing heat. The King produces heat within first 5 seconds. The Broan is noisy even though people thought it was quiet. I don't what they were comparing it to.I hope my experience will help someone else. Go with the King!

Delivery was rapid, the unit was as advertised. It is a little noisy when engaged but seems to heat well - will see after the winter how it hold up[.2017 update - This unit was always noisy and lasted 2 seasons - this year the unit no longer works as one of the wires which connects to the element had heated and was burned as the connector to the element seems to have melted. This is a piece of JUNK - DO NOT WASTE your money on this sub-standard unit which turns out to be dangerous as there is not reason for the connector to have burned except for being POOR QUALITY.

Recommended - easy installation if you can do simple wiring even if you have to adjust the heater from the default as delivered 240V to 120V.
