It is amazing. Easy to set up and use even if you’re not techy.

Lasted 4 years, on premium power conditioner, and the circuit board still fried. This is the second Brother DCP / MFC that only lasted a few years on a power conditioner. I would hate to see how long it would last without one. The logic boards are garbage, don't purchase.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD PRINTER. The only problem is the constant, annoying notifications from Brother Inc. Constant system updates, which usually fail, are not necessary. Aggravating when these notifications take control of your computer leaving you dead in the water until you allow Brother Inc to make whatever system changes some half-wit decided was a good thing to do. Other than the way too frequent "load paper" messages, it's a good printer. And well the scan function is a little wonky too. Not user friendly in that regard. Glad I didn't get hooked into the 'free ink' promo. If I didn't need a printer so badly at the moment, I'd would enjoy smashing this thing on the sidewalk.
