Top pick Consumer reports and I don't regret it. Seems like it was always a crap shoot with my prior printers (Samsung) where out of the blue, it would randomly have connection issues and suddenly wouldn't print (usually when most in a hurry). Not only does this printer print both sides of the paper, perfectly, it was easy to set up and has been rock solid. I forgot what is was like to simply "print" and have the printer actually print!

This printer does not copy!!! I thought the panel in the front that comes down will allow to put a page to be copied, but no. It simply print. It is monochrome, but the print are good. I am hoping the drum will copy for hundreds as stated, will see. It was becoming too expensive to replace ink cartridges for the old one. But now I have to keep both for when I want a copy!! Not what I wanted to do. My mistake will have to live with it.

So unobtrusive, it's under my living room end table and sits there quietly waiting. The prints (DUPLEX!) are crisp and clear and it's the fastest laser printer I've used. Bought the large size cart for it I expect it to last years. Best of all NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED and it's not cloud tethered at all so you're FREE of that BS.

I only unpackaged this printer yesterday so this review is based only on the setup experience. This is our second brother printer. Our first is a multifunction ink jet with scanner that we got tired of buying ink cartridges for; however we're keeping it for its scanning capability. This new printer was pretty easy to setup. Out of the box I was easily able to join it to our wifi. Then my mobile device quickly picked it up using the existing brother app. On our laptop I had to download the latest drivers from the brother website, was pretty straightforward. It comes with a CD with the required software however most modern laptops no longer come with CD drives so I suspect brother will eventually stop including this altogether. You can easily connect to the printer device settings using the app on the mobile device or laptop which allows for customization. I was able to change the device location name on both of my printers so that it makes it easier to identify which printer to select when printing. Overall I'm pretty happy with the setup experience and would recommend this product not only based on this but the fact that brother devices are great for the price.

So, this is a fantastic laser printer. It's super small, has a manual feed tray, seamless wifi setup and connection. It's also great for foiling...but only if you have a PC.The Brother website itself tells you to use AirPrint drivers with the more current versions of MacOS. They only make drivers for Windows now. Using the AirPrint drivers is not good for foiling. You don't get the advanced options to increase DPI and the prints that come out on my Mac are very low quality.Thankfully I have a PC, but I'd have to return it if I didn't!

This is replacing a large full color Brother laser networked printer. For its size and the price this puts out quality duplex copies at a quick pace. Downloaded brother software on a Mac and that made the installation work. Also restarted the router a couple times to get them to talk. Works perfectly as an air printer. I haven’t come across anything yet that won’t print directly from phone. A great value and good quality prints. Highly recommend.

Ok...I'll admit, I'm a bit biased toward Brother printers. Have used them for 25+ years, and have always had very good luck with them...the only reason I've had to replace them was because I literally wore them out as I use them in my business & as is oftentimes the case, it's cheaper to replace than repair. For this purchase, I "downgraded" from a heavily used 4+ year old HL-6200DW. Just wanted something very cheap, and for a laser printer with wireless printing & able to connect to a wired network, and does double sided printing, this one delivers. While it does print fast, it's a bit slow to "wake up". It's not as "smart" as some of the higher end models (for example...on the 6200, if you have it set to print double sided and then you print a 1 page document, the printer knows not to print a blank 2nd page. Not so on the 2370...if you tell it to print both sides, it'll print both sides, even if the 2nd side is blank. And if it's not cheap enough for you, the same printer minus the wired network connection is something like $40 less. So all in all, for a good, inexpensive printer, you can't go wrong with this one.

Probably one of the best and easiest printers I've ever used! I've never written a 5-star review before, but my mom suggested that I write one since I enjoyed this printer so much!!!I've gotta say that the app for this printer is really handy and also extremely convenient to use. It lets you check how much ink you have left, and you can also automatically update your printer from your phone. The printer is then ready to go right after updating--you don't have to press anything or the printer doesn't do weird stuff and glitch/need resetting. I've also never had any issues with updating, pulling stuff out of this printer yet *knock on wood*... and I've been using it to print ~500 pages so far, since August 2018. If you're as lazy as me, I've gotta say is realllllyyy low maintenance and seems extremely reliable so far--I mean these in a good way. Also really great that you can just print from your phone with the app they give you. Can send iPhone photos, websites, etc., to the printer wirelessly--even while in bed, while cooking, while watching TV... etc. I do this all the time. I loved this about this printer, though maybe I could say the same thing for other wireless printers. Regardless, I haven't had any issues at all with the wirelss printer router/sensor glicthing up, acting out, needing resetting... etc. I think it's even more reliable than my wireless router, to be honest.Overall, I have nothing negative at all to say, and would recommend this printer to my family and friends!! It's very sleek, fairly light to carry, very reliable and convenient (and haven't ever had anything frustrating happen yet) to use; even the app is really good for this device, which I think is very uncommon for a lot of electronics (i.e., maybe the interface is ugly, or hard to use/freezes--but I've never experienced this in the Brother app, which I like). The toner/ink refills for this printer are also really cheap which is awesome. You won't regret getting this printer!!!So I can honestly say this printer is very reliable and good for lazy people

I have had a number of printers by Brother in the past and were pleased with the quality and long term cost. So, when I went looking for a small monochrome printer for my apartment office I decided to try this printer. The setup was a breeze. I had it setup and printed test pages from 3 computers and two iphones within 30 minutes via WIFI. The WIFI instructions were not great. Here's what I did.1. Downloaded the printer driver from support.brother.com/windows2. Turned the printer off and on again.3. When it asked if I wanted to enter setup, I said yes.4. When it asked if I wanted to setup WIFI I said yes.5. I connected to the admin web page for my Linksys router and selected the printer and pushed the synch button.6. Went to each device and added the printer using the add new printer function. The printer wakes up from a deep sleep without any prompting or fanfare other than a print queue signal from one of the configured devices. There was about a 10 second delay for warm up and then it began spewing out pages, double sided, at a more than satisfactory rate. The printer size was slightly larger than I had imagined. You can get an idea from the photo I attached, my roll scanner is on the shelf above. The printer has a high capacity paper tray so you don't have to be adding paper all the time, about half of the height is actually the paper tray. The printer is so easy to use right from the start. Print quality is about the same as our $10,000 printer at work. The printer comes with a fully charged cartridge so your not going to be running out for a new cartridge after two weeks. Overall, I am very pleased with printers functionality, appearance, speed and quality. From my previous experience with Brother printers I expect its longevity to be good.
