I put this review off to see what all problems this bag would have. The fabric frays. When loaded as designed (not overfilled); the strap isn’t nearly wide enough/cushioned enough and it digs into the shoulder. Might as well go ahead and expect I’m to cut out some elastic clip hikers because they are going to be a few that will lost elasticity. The 4 ‘pegs’ on the bottom fell off one by one within the first week. They cut corners to save money and the quality isn’t there. It makes a GREAT stationary storage box. Plenty of storage and it looks nice.

The main bag is a good size, big enough to carry the essentials for a day at the range. It has fold-up hard sides that are sewn hinged at the bottom and held in place with velcro at the top. This gives you a hard-sided bag when you're using it, yet you can fold down the sides and collapse the bag if you want to pack it in your checked baggage for example. Know there are no small interior pockets or dividers. The smallerouter side pockets are lined with a soft cloth so nothing should get scratched while transporting. The main bag also comes with an adjustable clip-on shoulder strap.The 4-box tote easily carries 4 boxes of 12ga. ammo. One reviewer said it only held 3. The only thing I can think of in that case, the user was trying to pack boxes of 3" shells or perhaps was using aftermarket plastic boxes. If your shells are in the standard 25-round cardboard boxes, you'll have no problem packing 4.Two reasons for the 4-star rating - Neither piece has a pocket for a business card sized name/address card. A dumb oversight. Reason 2 - The shell tote should have a snap or velcro on the grip portion to keep the grip portion up when in use. Both issues can be easily remidied with a trip to a shoe or luggage repair shop.
