The design is good, and most of the materials are good quality HOWEVER the ball was definitely dropped when it came to the brown sequins. Flat, unpainted. I had to Sharpie them to be usable.

The thread in this set breaks or pulls apart easily while I am working. It doesn't snap, it just weakens and next thing I know I'm pulling half a thread out. Everything else is fine, the design is very cute. Fun project.

I love these kits - this one is now the second that I've done. The instructions are easy to follow, there is more than enough thread/beads provided. The felt is of decent quality. I have always added a cord trim around the edges (bought separately) to finish it off nicely. I thoroughly enjoy working on these in the evening while watching TV. Would buy again.

I've not started making this stocking yet but I have made 4 others from this brand.I put the sequins/beads on an ikea kids plate that has a lip so that they don't roll away.With any of these it's important you don't lose you pieces so I advise to cut as you go and don't cut anything you can't work on right away!I also recommend the stocking liners they now sell. Very easy to add and keeps all those strings from getting snagged

This is the 14th stocking I've made for grandchildren. Bucilla does a great job on designs and materials, although there were not enough of the bronze sequins. I have done cross-stitched, embroidered, needlepointed, and appliqued stockings. The directions for this kit are good, but it certainly helped having previous experience with kits of this type. Some of the pieces did not line up exactly with the placement on the stocking, but I easily adjusted the items. I finished it over a 10 day period.

I purchased three different patterns from this brand and decided to start on this one first. I recently realized how complex this pattern is after working on other patterns. It’s manageable, but this one might be more challenging than other patterns. I thought the instructions were clear and the materials were high quality. Overall, I’m happy with the final product.

This is an adorable design and I’m so excited to put it together. I counted all the sequins to make sure I’d have enough before beginning because of another review and it has everything I need. I’m very excited! I love these. My mom made them for us as kids and now I’m making them for my family.
