What I like about this note book binder is that it meets and exceeds my needs to lock my documents in place. I like the D-rings and locking tabs. If you do not release the locking tab you will not be able to open the D-rings. So far, so good.

I was somewhat nervous to purchase this as some of the reviews had been rather scathing. However, the price point was too good not to give it a go. Well, I'm glad that I did. This item arrived in good condition, perhaps a little dusty, but certainly not dirty or damaged as some of the reviews I had read suggested. It's huge and ideal for storing the many music manuscripts that I wanted to organize in one place. Based on my experience I would recommend.

Exceeded my expectation, I need a very low cost binder for temporary use, after using this binder very frequently even with little rough handling, should be more than a month now I still find it perfect, strong and sturdy as purchased. I like this binder and would like to keep it as an asset to file all my important documents in one file.

If you are looking for a huge Binder that is sturdy and holds a bunch of papers, this is the one. It was nice to put all of my files in one place. No more searching for files stashed everywhere. I just go to the binder.

It's a 5" binder. It's great at holding a large amount of paper in 1 place. I currently have a stack of paper right over 5" in it. I did accidentally rip the front plastic pocket, but it's still usable.

I have purchased several of these binders for my son's sports cards collection. Every one of them has had defective rings-- one or more of the rings will not close properly after opening/closing them a few times. It is very irritating when the pages can't be turned without getting caught on the rings. I was hoping the first one I received was just a bit defective, but since ordering additional binders since then, have decided they are just not quality enough for the amount of pages these binders are supposed to hold, and the number of times the pages get turned back and forth. The reason I purchased these binders was because they are supposed to be extra-strong to hold plastic card pocket pages. We never over fill them-- only as many pages as the straight side of the rings will hold. It's hard to find 5 - 6" binders that have very sturdy rings.
