I received this order in pristine shape and two days sooner than expected. The boxing was super tight and there were no scratches anywhere. Totally protected in the packaging and boxing. The butcher block is absolutely beautiful. I am remodeling my sewing room and this will make a nice board for my cutting mat. It also matches perfectly to the wood already in the room so I will be doing a natural stain to retain its beauty.

This piece of wood continually splits and warps. It seems that it was not properly Kiln dried and or glued. Even after several attempts to clamp and reglue the ends that split as soon as it gets a few hours without air conditioning it starts to warp and split again. i used this to make an industrial sewing machine top and is normally stored in a climate controlled area but does from time to time ge pulled out to my shop where it can not handle the enviornment.DO NOT BUY THIS MATERIAL IT IS INFERIOR AT BEST!!!

I got this for the center island of my kitchen of our brand new home. This is EXACTLY what we needed. It was the best price and it is the best quality! Very heavy and thick. Durable hardwood. Easy to stain, paint or oil for your home. I used a wood oil. I didn’t need to sand or anything. It came packaged so securely and well. It came within days of ordering as well. We are extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend!
