I bought and installed this box 5 months ago, very nice looking box and sturdy so far, the problem with it is not water tight, I’d seen little water from the first few weeks with no big rainfall, but two weeks ago when I found out it was with 2 inches of water in it, since I used to keep some new spares parts and tools, all boxes were ruined and tools rusted.It is a total disappointing for me.

Box seems built well, needed some screws tightened but fits good. The shipping was horrible. Steps arrived bent. More tape than cardboard on box.

With any aluminum box buy the extra brackets, this has added metal in the corners. I do alot of oil field delivery, but still put steal support brackets. Plan on this box sticking above the cat walk so you can open the lid and having to drill drain holes in the bottom. I put sealant around bolts when bolting it on with a rubber washer. I did drop the front step down one hole so it would not be to much of a step, would like to have a third step would make getting to cat walk easier. Was trying to drop it down so the top was even with the frame, but would have to put space between it and the frame and would put the box past the side of the truck. Would have mounted on the passenger side but having a pump mounted. Wishing I had gotten the 24" box instead, but the box is holding everything that was intended to be used for.

This was put on the Semi Truck for more storage, we noticed that they should have been a little smaller for the space.
