Smaller than anticipated but works fine! Thick, heavy, sturdy. Grills well, catches grease.

this cast iron beast be weighin more than my weekend regrets, but that hefty build means it be distributin heat smoother than a sweet talkin car salesman. fits my GE range like it was meant to be there since day one, turnin my basic stove into a proper diner-style cookin station for them epic breakfast adventures. took a minute to season it right but now its got that non-stick magic workin better than them fancy teflon pans that cost an arm n two legs.

I'm no expert on griddles. But I think this griddle works well enough for making pancakes.

I wanted this as an alternative surface for a smoker/grill, and it's just what the doctor ordered. Plenty of room for whatever I'm cooking, but doesn't take up the entire area (so I can get beneath it if necessary without any fuss). Cast iron fanatics like myself will just love this. :)

There have been several times over our years of camping when we've discussed having something like this simple, efficient griddle. It would certainly get hot enough to actually cook food, but I like the idea of using it to keep food warm. Build your stones up around your campfire ring so the griddle isn't too close to the flames that it cooks. Just check your heat occasionally and you'll be fine. Also, you can use this on any gas stove with one burner behind another. It specifies GE, but our is a Kenmore and it works great. Not perfectly non- stick, but good enough. The grease catching groove around the edges is also helpful in avoiding a mess!

Got this for my gas oven and it was a perfect fit. Just like with most griddles, cook your meat first and then use the extra grease to cook your eggs, pancakes, and such. Easy to use and maintain.

I measured before I ordered this, and made sure it would fit. This also fits over other GE gas/LP range tops, sitting right over the existing burners and grills.I thought it was nonstick coated, but hidden in the description it says it is a matte black ceramic coating, similar to what Le Creuset and other cast iron skillets use. This means it does not need to be seasoned, but oil is necessary to keep food from sticking. But, it doesn't need to be seasoned and maintained like a traditional cast iron griddle. Instead, just soap it up and scrub it down. It resists rust and is moderately non-stick as long as you let it preheat and use oil to cook.I have only cooked on it once, and I already like it so much better than a stainless steel griddle I bought to make breakfasts on. The stainless one is so thin that it really only has to hot spots. The cast iron distributes the heat more efficiently and allows the entire surface to heat up more evenly. It is also heavier and sits still better than the stainless one.
