How to identify your pool and spa filter cartridge?
If you already know your filter cartridge's part number, please search the part number on our product page to quickly confirm whether the filter is compatible.
If you do not know the part number for your cartridge, then choosing the right cartridge can be accomplished by measuring your existing one. Use the following steps as a guide:
- Measure the outside diameter of the cartridge.(±1mm).
- Measure the overall length of the cartridge in inches (± 1/16), including the end caps. Do not include any handles, strings, etc. A more accurate measurement is made by measuring through the center of the cartridge when possible.
- If the top and/or bottom is open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (±1mm). If the end cap is closed make note of its identifying features (i.e. 'Handle', etc.).
- Make note of the manufacturer (OEM) and model number of the filter into which the replacement cartridge will be installed.
- Take note whether or not there is a center core.Also count the number of pleats (±2).

The end openings are slightly oversize and do not seal around the lower manifold connections or top spacer of a Hayward C3025. As a result, a portion of unfiltered water leaks into the outlet manifold and back into the pool. Very frustrating to vacuum the pool and watch debris particles shooting out the jets. Original filters had flexible plastic lips at the end openings, providing a seal. These cheapo one do not have them. They are almost worthless.

I purchased these filters because of the price. They are much more affordable than the big box pool stores have them for. They are also the exact same design and material as my original Hayward filter cartridges. So far they've been holding up great and have been easy to clean.

For the cost I just install new ones every year, I clean at least 2 times through the season and seems adequate.

Easy to install. Perfect fit. I clean these paper filters every 6 months and replace them every two years. Heavy Arizona dust and other contaminates captured in these filter cartridges. Excellent quality for a very reasonable price, half of what the brand name cartridges sell for.
