Vraiment bien, fait le job. Je suis satisfait et content de pouvoir utiliser mon écran de 22pouces pour le télétravail avec mon MacBook pro.

EDIT - As shown in my earlier review (below the double lines after this edit), the first cable I received didn't work at all. I spent several years working in IT, so narrowing the problem down to the cable wasn't difficult. But here's where things turned unusual (and much better). Once I placed that negative review, I was contacted by Cable Matters almost immediately. They expressed regret over the poor performance, and offered to replace the cable AND send a pre-labeled return envelope so the replacement would cost me nothing. I took them up on the offer even though at this point I no longer needed the cable, and within a couple of days had the replacement in hand.I have since tested the replacement cable, and it works like a champ. I figure every product will have an occasional lemon, and evidently I was unlucky enough to get one. However the thing about Cable Matters that will always stand out to me now is not the fact that I got a bad cable from them. It's their fantastic customer service, and dedication to putting out quality product. This is the first time I've changed a one star review to a five, but these folks definitely deserve it.______________________________________________________Not sure what I can say except that it doesn't work. At all. I have a mini-DP to VGA adapter that works just fine, so I know the port is good. And I recently got an external graphics adapter (different brand) that ties into the DVI port on the same monitor that this adapter DIDN'T work on, so I know the DVI input on the monitor is good.So if it's not the mini-displayport on the laptop, and it's not the DVI port on the monitor, the only other possibility is the cable between them. The only good thing I can say about this is that at least it didn't cost me too much.

I was having trouble with my previous cable, which was whenever there was fluctuation in light my monitor light also used to fluctuate. I initially thought this was power cable issue but it was due to the connecting cable. Then I saw and bought this. Since then there has been no issue. I would recommend this cable to anyone who is facing similar issue.

I have 4 machines which connect to a single led monitor, keyboard, and mouse thorough a KMV switch. The first 3 are workstations that all use DVI-D or DVI-I, while the 4th is a laptop which my office "gave" me to use for email (win7 and VGA only). So since my monitor (1920x1600 and I love it anyway) doesn't support DVI-I, I have used a variety of adapters but had to give up and use a separate VGA cable going directly from the mouse to the DB15/vga port on the monitor while the other 3 connect (through the KVM switch) to the monitor's DVI-D port.A few days ago the office laptop died, and I received a replacement which has a mini display port on it. I bought this cable and now I have ditched the direct connection and am able to run all 4 video signals through the KVM swtich. The cable looks exactly like the photo (I know that some folks have reported that it didn't look the same), and it works exactly as expected :-)So to me this cable is a HUGE time saver since now I can skip having to take my hands away from the keyboard to hit the manual switch on the front of the monitor (to change input ports). So I'd say that if you need this cable, you really need it VERY BADLY and it should handle your needs for MDP (mini display port) to DVI.------------------------I was just about to post this review when I got an email from my office. I'm taking on a project which will require that I get a 4Kx2K monitor. So once I have that, I'll post and let people know how this cable works (I'd love to get 3840x2400 but co$t wise it looks like I'll be orering 3840x2160...)

The Cable Matters mini DisplayPort to DVI cable was purchased to connect an Intel NUC's mini-DisplayPort to the DVI connection on the Dell monitor the NUC replaced. It has operated perfectly and reliably and the white cable looks nice with the silver and black NUC.We had originally tried using a which worked well for about a week but the monitor stopped getting a signal once in a while when the NUC was being used (not sleep monitor power save mode). We thought it was the NUC or the monitor or some power setting, driver or BIOS issue, but were able to rule these out and finally replaced that cable with this one. Since then the problem has gone away and the NUC to monitor operation has been 100% reliable and excellent quality.Because it solved our problem and exceeded our lowered expectations the Cable Matters Mini-DisplayPort to DVI adapter cable is getting 5 stars.

This turned out to be the perfect solution to a problem I faced when I bought a second monitor to use with my Macbook Pro laptop.I wanted to be able to test the look of video that I was editing with Premiere Pro, and so I picked up an HD Dell Monitor. The monitor comes with a VGA plug, but I wanted the higher resolution you can get with HDMI or DVI.Of course you can plug an HDMI cable into the HDMI outlet on the Macbook Pro and then into the HDMI input on the monitor, but that just mirrors the laptop onto the external monitor. I then tried a cable that goes from HDMI to DVI and that worked to extend the monitor, but for some reason it rendered fonts and graphics poorly on to the screen. I thought I'd gotten a bad screen - except that when I screened video it worked great. What I realized -- after a bit of research -- is that the signal from the HDMI output was not able to render the desktop on the external monitor properly and what I needed was something that would go from my Thunderbolt/Mini Display Port to the DVI input on the monitor. This cable worked perfectly. This cable is very well-built and I'm very happy with it.

This is the cable you'll need to connect your Thunderbolt-enabled laptop to a separate display with DVI input. I use mine to connect my Apple MacBook Pro to a BENQ 21" Senseye HD display.Simply connect the cable to the laptop and display, then connect your separate keyboard and mouse to the USB ports of the laptop, boot the laptop and switch on your display then close the laptop's lid after the chime. Everything thereafter will be set and controlled via the DVI display. You might need to go to System Preferences/Displays to set the display settings initially, but this should only need to be done once.I use mine for video editing work where I need a larger monitor. Very useful.
