This is a practical, easy to use encoder.The shaft size is appropriate and the output is appropriate.Not much to say, other than perhaps long-term functionality. But in the short term, this thing works just fine.

Not the greatest build quality. I wouldn't trust it in an industrial application, but for home shop use or general tinkering - plenty adequate.
