This customized, one-piece aluminum alloy cage serves as a protective exoskeleton for your Desview R7II 7" touch screen monitor while providing multiple 1/4"-20 threads / anti-twist 1/4"-20 female mounts for attaching accessories. A cable clamp is built into the left side of the cage, preventing accidental cable disconnects. The monitor mounts onto the cage using two 1/4"-20 screws.

This fits the R7II as advertised. Comes with mounting screws. There are only two anchor points to attach the cage to the monitor because the monitor only has two mounting positions - bottom and right side. These are enough to keep it secure in the cage, and generally flush with the edge of the cage. The upper left corner of the monitor can be a titch above flush because of no anchor points in the vicinity. An extra one or two of those on the top and left would resolve this issue. It's not the cage's fault so I'm giving it 5 stars. Great fit and finish. No unpleasant surprises or messing with it to get it to attach. All ports and controls are easily accessible with the cage installed... and, I can still get the monitor into the original box and still put the lid on (although the lid sits a bit higher). That's helpful until I figure out a long term case solution.
