The board is stamped with the Raspberry Pi so it's not a clone. Came with heatsinks and a power source with a power switch adapter. All-in-one and ready to load your card into.

I brought this to get a new octoprint server for my 3d printers and I also gotten 2 32gb sdcards to have them programed with the raspberry pi to get the server to run on octoprint! No more need for SD card pull in and out of the 3d printers!

recently, I got into 3D printing. this led me to the operating system called "Klipper". this Pi is running that operating system for my printer. after a few months now, it's still working better than its predecessor. temps have been ultra stable and the USB support has worked flawlessly.

Arrived 5 days later then expected because of Careere's issues, but perfectly on time in Town, from US seller. The product works very well and owning the previous model Raspberry Pi 3b+ I can see the difference and the big performance emprovments.

Works as expected. I have issues with the new revision (as do many others...mostly about the use of microHDMI ports in place of full HDMI ports), but that is a scope outside what I believe these reviews are for.I loaded Arch Linux on mine and (besides being stick on armv7 for the moment) it's functional and performant. Personally I look forward to using the future opencl support for faster visual recognition so I van make a smart doorbell or security cam.For temps, I don't know of the included heatsink does anything to help temps. I've heard people say it actually hurts temps because the tape that holds it on acts as a thermal insulator. This hasn't really been my experience. I just throw it in a case with a tiny 3v3-5v fan and my tps never go over 60°c at synthetic full load (stress -c4 -m 4). I had noticed the USB ports get noticeably warm. With the included power adaptor with power button, I didn't need to source my own USB c charger (which is good because there is apparently a serious comparability issue with the different ones out there.)My only gripe is that it doesn't come with a case. I understand why (sorta) but with a cooling case, it performs a lot better.

Like everything I have purchased from CanaKit, this is a great kit. But the Raspberry Pi 4 uses a slightly different form factor than previous versions (looks slightly smaller) and the Power and HDMI video connectors have changed.Since demand has been way ahead of supply for this Pi, I had plenty of time to explore the changes and ordered an appropriate case, and HDMI adapters for it ahead of time. This kit comes with three heatsinks and while, as others have mentioned, the instructions are lacking for the placement of the heatsinks, a couple of seconds Googling will give you the info you need. The power supply and inline switch have been adequate to run the Pi without any issues. This is the Raspberry Pi I have been waiting for. It has the RAM and IO throughput to perform well as a desktop machine. It doesn't balk at opening up multiple tabs in Chromium, Libre Office apps open quickly, etc.I haven't tested it yet with external drives, etc but I expect that this will make a great little NAS setup. It seems to run a little warmer than the previous Pi's which I expected, so I ordered a case with a tiny almost inaudible fan. With the fan and heatsinks, the CPU temp is around 40c (about 104 degrees f).

The kit included everything needed to fire up the pi (except an SD card, which is fine with me, I have plenty of them.)The packaging was good, everything was well-protected, and the computer itself is what I expected. The in-line power switch is a nice bonus. The included heat sinks were easy to apply, though some users might benefit from a diagram showing which chip each sink should be applied to.The main concern with this initial model is the flaw in the USB-C power connector, which causes it to not be recognized if the power supply uses an e-marked cable. This is a legitimate problem, but it's only a real concern in high power applications. This isn't an issue for lower workload scenarios, which will be fine with a standard USB-C cable that isn't e-marked.If you are planning on higher power consuming usage, you might want to wait until an updated board is released that fixes the issue, but if you've already bought this unit and want to run it at full power, you can bypass the design flaw by using a POE adapter and powering it via a POE injector. This is actually a more flexible approach, especially for installation use, such as in digital signage, as POE cable runs can be much longer than USB cables, and eliminate the need for a second adapter at the installation site.
