Easy to Install
The steel pipes are threaded for an hassle free installation. The components and the pipe threading are all 1/8-IP compatible for an easy assembly as well.

- 2 x 1/8-IP x 12" threaded pipe
- 2 x 1/8-IP couplings
- 2 x 1/8-IP locknuts
- 2 x 1/8-IP knurled locknuts
- 2 x washers

The outside diameter is .980 in vs 1/8 in straight pipe is .970 and it is 25 threads per inch rather than 27. Depending on how long the mating part is it might work or might not. For me it would not thread correctly through my brass lamp parts. In picture above threads do not mesh. The original brass part has more threads than the new steel thread from Amazon.

Able to modify a table and light to house my cactus and heat my terrarium to winterize it in Washington. Been looking for a table and lamp especially for that purpose, but was able to take a table given by a friend and increase the height of the lamp and now it’s perfect! Project complete!
