About Us
Salvatore Capezio was appointed as the official shoemaker for the Metropolitan Opera House after his shop became a meeting place for dancers to discuss their shoe needs. One dancer in particular, Angelina Passone, dropped in one day to discuss her shoe needs and ended up becoming the wife of Salvatore Capezio. Capezio is the name that continues to make the world dance. With over 130 years of quality craftsmanship and timeless design, Capezio is the brand for athletes and performers across the globe.

When my son needed to size up, we ordered Capezio's dance belt briefs instead of the last brand, which cut into his waist. These briefs are well-made, durable, and the wide band fits comfortably around his waist

I bought medium and large sizes for my son and they do provide support but be aware that they do run on the tight side. My son is 9 years old and 72 pounds and on the taller side for his age so the large fit him better than the medium size.

These don’t have much elasticity to them and aren’t really supposed to because you need them to give a bit of compression and support. That being said, if you’re on the fence between two sizes, order up. :) Washes well and wears comfortably! This is our second buy as he outgrew the one from last year.

This belt works very well for my 10 year old boy in dance. He is in ballet and these work well under his pants. He is very happy about having these.

The sizing on these are awful My child is a size medium and sometimes small but the medium I ordered for him are too small. I ordered the next size up (large) and They are huge. Extremely disappointed.

Based on the fit guide, these should have been a little big. Luckily, they run a little small/fit tight, so they were actually perfect.
