We use premium Chrome Molybdenum steel tempered with our proprietary heat treatment process to make these impact sockets and accessories. The cost of replacing fuel filters to doing this myself made this a perfect buy. This is the size needed and is extremely durable. Works as designed and attaches to the socket wrench very well. This was a great buy.

I bought this specific socket to back out bottom caliper bolts with a regular 1/2" ratchet from the Meritor air disc calipers on Freightliner semi tractors after torque is broken with a very expensive specialty tool. Most of the guys were using 30mm ratchet wrenches which makes it difficult and can be cumbersome when the ratchet slips off of the bolt head. The socket is solid and is NOT a thin oil filter socket. It's truly a half inch drive super stubby. If you work on trucks give it a try.

always good idea to have these in short and deep sockets. I got this to change an oil filter on chevy malibu 2.4 liter engine. the deep socket is to long this worked great.

I needed this to do a transmission oil change on a 4Runner. The placement of the fill hole on the side of the transmission makes it difficult to get to with a standard-length socket and 1.2" ratchet. It hits the floorboard area. This socket arrived and I was able to access the fill port easily. The extra short length made this possible and worked perfectly. This well-built impact socket is another great addition to the toolbox. I recommend!

Just got it an hour ago and I've already used it. Be aware, this is a stubby version of a socket. It works great in a tight space and allowed me to use my torque wrench on something rather inaccessible. The fit on the large nut was perfect, not sloppy. Recommend.

The good: The socket is low profile (1.10in) and seems sturdy.The bad: The 24mm socket is actually a 22mm socket which makes the good a moot point.****************Edit**************Contacted vendor directly and they have resolved the issue by sending a new 24mm socket and verified it was correct before sending. They also are going to contact Amazon to remove any mislabeled sockets from inventory... Thank you to Capri Tools for correcting the issue.
