We have a bottom drawer freezer and it has started to squeak terribly when pulling the drawer out. Ordered this to try and combat the problem. Because this is in a tube, you have to apply the lubricant to the slides with your fingers but it seems to have done a good job at stopping the squeaks.The tube is a bit smaller than I expected, but I still think it is a good value and the fact that it is food safe is a plus as well because you can use it on other kitchen appliances. I would recommend.

I have both an above-ground pool and a hot tub and I do my own maintenance on both. This stuff is good to have on-hand for replacement of O-rings and similar parts for ease of assembly and improved water-tightness. This is a pretty small tube of lubricant (1.76 ounces or 50 grams), but most other brands seem to come in tubes of only one ounce. For my purposes, it doesn't really matter because a little bit of this stuff goes a long way. That being said, some of the other brands are a little less expensive so you may want to compare prices before you buy. The product quality seems fine, and no more or less greasy than any other product out there.

This is a clear food grade silicone lubricant that is like Vaseline in viscosity. It's good for O rings, faucet hookups, anywhere where using a petroleum based lubricant could cause contamination. I did a search for the listing number and found that it is an NSF listed product, safe to use in food preparation areas. It's good quality lubricant and is competitively priced for the amount supplied.

Perfect for lubricating the o-rings on my pool equipment. I like that it is high enough quality to be food-grade. I use it for my pool equipment. There is a very large O-ring on the filter itself. If it isn't clean and lubricated, it leaks every time. This time I used this silicone grease and it sealed up the first time. It's easier to tighten it up, too. This will work on the washerless faucet in the kitchen and bath also. I recommend getting a tube of this just to have around for the next time you have a leaky faucet, or you need to service pool equipment.

Perfect for the DIY person who just doesn't do a lot of plumbing projects. I use this on the o-ring when replacing my shower cartridge, or similar small plumbing jobs, and it does a great job for those purposes. But it's also a small tube, so it's the perfect size for me and won't take up a bunch of space on my shelf or in my tool bag. A plumber once recommended always putting a little bit of this plumbers grease on o-rings, so I'm doing what the professionals recommend.
