I had so little faith in these, that they sat in a drawer for 14 months before I bothered to try them. I kept them for emergency backups. Big mistake. I put down my little 5" orbital polisher and grabbed one of these foam cones just to get into a tight spot and it worked so well and so fast, I never went back to the orbital! I believe I may have actually given it the stink-eye. I was also afraid the foam would quickly deteriorate, but it’s really tough! Highly recommend. All you need is a cheap little drill, the smaller & lighter the better, but any will do.

The cones broke and shredded on the first use polishing my wheels. The pads seem to be ok.

I got these to buff up the paint on an 80s GM car where the paint was heavily oxized from being outside for decades. These will do the job, and seem to be reusable as long as you keep them clean. I have yet to wear one out.

I am so impressed with the foam cones! I used one on four BMW wheels with a pretty powerful Mikita drill with some M101 compound. Not only did the cone work great for polishing the wheels, it's almost as good as new even after polishing four wheels with a bunch of sharp edges and tight spaces. I'm really impressed with how well they hold up!

Over all they worked well on the aluminum wheels I was polishing. After one or two times the material didn’t stand up or last.Un sure if I would purchase them again?

Less expensive than Chem Guys or Mothers, and the quality does not appear to be any less.

I bought these inexpensive polishers for cleaning and polishing 30 year old stainless wire wheel covers with lots of brake dust and grime. I started using Mothers Metal Polish (good stuff) and a Power Cone and Power Ball by Mothers. But the wire wheel covers destroyed the Power Cone and Power Ball, which cost around $25 each. I bought these inexpensive cones and pads ($15) because I knew the spokes and detail areas of the wheel covers would destroy them. They worked great and lasted much longer than expected. For the money, and the specific project, these were perfect. NOTE: The Mothers products were good too, but not for this extreme polishing job.
