well it looks better than it did before. I had a bend in my tail light so I used a heat gun to help curve the Repair tape lens. Unfortunately, the adhesive did pull away but still covered the major damage. Better than others I have used. I would still buy it again as I feel it is one of the better options I have tried.

Use clear tape to install. My car took 2 Red and 2 Clear for the rear tail light. Using until car can go in for repair appointment. Took 2 adults to install. Looks incredible.

Color was excellent. Glue was strong. However not a good solution if your surface to repair has a curve in it. Plastics is stiff but sturdy. I would buy again if I have a flat surface to repair.

Better than I expected for the low cost

I am restoring a 69 Ford pickup. The original chrome hood ornaments amber lense was very faded. It is almost impossible to find just the lenses. So I found this product to cover over tge original lense. Worked perfect. I made a template and cut out with scissors. Pealed the back off and stuck it over the old lense. Material has a stiffness to it but thin too. In my application it was excellent.I plan to do the red on my rear reflectors too. Saved me a bundle.

I liked the color, but it it much stiffer than I expected. It would be difficult to shape it around a curve, or even harder over a bulge. I had no problem since I was applying it to a flat surface. The glue is very strong, but I recommend you wipe the surface you are applying it to with methyl alcohol to remove any oil or grease. (Gas line antifreeze is methyl alcohol)
