So far, I am pleased with this alarm. It works well and has the potential to deter anyone who may decide to mess with your car. It was easy to set up and very loud while I was testing it. The remote works well and is easy to use. I mounted it on my dash in a conspicuous place, so the lights are easily seen. When I first installed it, I closed the door and armed it. I tapped lightly on the window and nothing happened. I tapped harder and it went off. It isn't that loud with the doors closed but loud enough to draw attention. So, it definitely does its job. Don't know about the battery life yet. It could be used on bikes, motorcycles or even in things like toolboxes, backpacks or briefcases.

The device's alarm worked fine. However, the remote stopped working the first day, even when the device was on. I could not turn it off because the remote did not work. I could not return it because the alarm is sounding loudly.If they could improve the remote or at least send two remotes per device, it could help

This is not as sensitive or powerful as an alarm system that you would have installed into your car, but at a fraction of the price of one of those systems, it does a competent job of protecting your car. The internal alarm is nice and loud - but how loud will depend on your car's noise dampening, but no matter what, you will definitely hear it from outside the car, and that should deter anyone trying to get into your vehicle. Besides that, the bright lights on the unit definitely look official and should also make anyone think twice before targeting your car.

My car is already alarmed, but I requested this for my son's car which did not come with an alarmThis Car Vibration Sound and Light Alarm with Remote, and Anti-Theft Vibration Alert, with flashing LED Security Lights is just what he needed for additional protection of his vehicle. Hey, it's not an installed Security system, but it does the job for the time being. The illumination is enough to possibly scare off a thief, but it does what it's supposed to due.

It’s ok as far as fooling a thief from a distance. The light illuminates pretty well at night but once up close, you can tell it’s just an add on. The alarm is loud, if you’re in your car but not so if you’re outside it. You can’t hear it from the house which pretty much defeats the purpose. This will work until you get a real alarm, I just wouldn’t trust it in a sketchy area.
