Product Description

KARBXON - Carbon Fiber Products
Carbon Fiber Fabrics
Carbon fiber fabrics are made from carbon nano tubes bundled together into TOWs. The TOW is referred by the number of nano tubes bundled, 3K=3000 tubes. Those bundles are woven together into a variety of fabrics weaves, like Plain, Twill, Beehive in a assortment of colors.
Carbon Fiber Plates
Layers of Carbon Fiber fabric are layered and imbedded with epoxy in a vacuum insuring full saturation. The resulting plates are extremely strong and lightweight. Uses include drone frames, RC vehicles, automobliles and more.
Pultruded Tubing & Rods
Carbon Fiber tubes are available in round, solid and square styles. Tubes can be made of rolled fabric with a glossy or matte finish. Tubes can also be made in a Pultrusion process where strands of carbon fiber are pulled thru a die and coated with epoxy. Tubes are extremely strong and lightweight.
Carbon Fiber Tubing
Tubing is made of 3K Carbon Fiber fabric rolled and imbedded with epoxy resulting in a tube that is constructed of carbon nano tubing. We have tubing available in Red, Blue, glossy & matte Black finishes.
Working with Carbon Fiber Fabric

Carbon Fiber Fabric Specifics
- 3K TOW (3000) strands (nano tubes) grouped together into bundles TOW's
- Pure Carbon Nano tubes harnessing the power of Carbon-Carbon atomic bonds
- Fabrics available from 200-600 gram weight per square meter.
- Fabrics available in Red, Blue, Yellow, Black and in weaves like Plain, Twill, UNI & Beehive
Easy to work with
Cutting Carbon Fiber Fabric
KARBXON Carbon fiber can be easily cut with sharp or electric scissors. The fabric frays easily in it's uncoated raw form. KARBXON fabric comes hemmed on the edges to help reduce fraying. The fabric when coated with epoxy can be easily shaped and behaves much like fiberglass cloth. The fabric can be layered multiple times the obtain desired thickness and strength.
Fabric (Misconceptions)
We get a lot of questions about Carbon Fiber fabric: Is it Bullet proof, Hey, it's falling apart! Carbon Fiber fabric is Pure 100% Carbon nano tubes. These tubes are loose and are woven into a fabric, so this resulting fabric is a grouping of loose nano tubes. It is extremely strong but when coated with epoxy it forms the desired rigid structure. The resulting product is lightweight and extremely strong. Coated carbon fiber is now used in airplane bodies, F1 frames and thousands of other uses. And no it is not bullet proof.
Beehive Weave
Carbon Fiber is available in a number of weave styles. Beehive is a hexagonal weave like that of how Bees structure their hives. This weave offers carbon fiber nano tubes running both vertical and horizontal directions. This weave gives high strength in both directions and looks pretty cool too. Available in Red, Black and Blue aramid carbon fiber fabrics,
Twill & Plain Weaves
Carbon fiber most commonly comes in Plain or Twill weaves as shown above. Both weaves are very similar with Plain weave being slightly smoother and Twill weave being slightly coarser. Both weaves offer great strength in the vertical and horizontal axis. These weaves are available in Black, Blue, Yellow and Red colors.
UNI Weave
UNI weave is carbon fiber fabric where all of the TOW strand bundles are all woven in one direction. This is often used as a structural reinforcement. All of the strands of nano tubes focused in one direction offer tremendous strength. This is often used when reinforcing concrete wall that need support or similar applications.
