The fabric with the zipper for the top of the door ripped right apart on the 2nd day of use. It was barely windy. Other than that it's been ok. Not great. Hopefully we're able to repair the torn fabric. The portion of the tent that meets up with the side of the RV could really be improved. It's nearly impossible to get any kind of tight fitment. I'm considering buying some velcro tape to fix that.If it were half the price I'd give it more stars, but for this price it really should be better quality.

I do love this 21 foot screen room. It was very easy to install and creates so much more space! Very happy over all but I have 2 issues with the door. 1. There is no window on the door like advertised which to me throws off the whole look of it and 2. The door will not zip all the way down. The zipper portion is broken. For how much this screen room costs I was hoping for better craftsmanship and a 100% usable door. But like I said over all I'm happy. Would of given 5 starts if it wasnt for the door issues.

LOVE IT. So easy to set up but make sure you also add some wind safety measures. We set this up on our 5th wheel at a bush work camp. Within two days of setting it up, we quickly realized that without heavy duty wind precautions, we were going to damage or even loose the awning as well as the tent.Because we were already in the bush, we had to quickly MacGyver things. We used the old tent's adjustable poles to prevent the wind from pushing the awning down and then used heavy ropes to anchor it down to surrounding equipment. Since the tent pegs that came with the kit were getting pulled out of the ground by the wind, we replaced them with sand bags. Once secured in this matter, we no longer had to worry about wind and were able to keep it up for 3 months straight. After doing some research, I came across another product: CAREFREE R019399-001 RV Awning Stabiliz'R Kit. I wish the company would simply add this to the tent as a complete kit or at least warn that it as a must have add-on.Finally, we did have some difficulties with sealing the tent against the wall, both vertically and horizontally. The straps don't stay tight so we need to work on MacGyering something else for that next year. Maybe some kind of awning tracks can be installed? The problem with that is if you decide to change your RV, you may have caused depreciation if someone else doesn't want an awning tent?

Very impressed with the screen room, I set it up myself in about 15 minutes, it's very easy to install. My only issue is that it won't keep out bugs as the sides don't attach to the trailer other than velcro to an included strip that simply hangs down the side, also the top clips to the awning, so again, nothing to stop bugs, but it keeps out the rain perfectly. I may add two sided velcro the top and to the trailer to attach it to and see if I can't seal it up better to keep out bugs. Otherwise, good quality, looks great, but find a youtube video to watch before setting it up, the instructions aren't that easy to understand. Watch a video once and you'll have it up in no time.

Without duplicating some of the other reviews, I do want to touch on a few personal observations after purchasing this for my 5th wheel. So, off to the races... 1) It takes a bit to sort out the 'puzzle pieces', so suggest you lay them all out on the grass or your basement to understand what you are working with. The instructions are not great (see also: not with pictures for dummies) so you need to conceptualize how it all fits together and the best way to do that is to lay it all out IMO 2) The quality is excellent, like a high end tent fabric that doesn't feel thin or cheap 3) Once installed, it will take a bit to make it "perfectly" fit your application, in my case I plan to customize how the sides attach to the trailer. While the generic velcro solution is ok, I think there is a better answer to be had. Not sure what that looks like yet but if you are buying this to be out of the box air and rain tight to the side of your trailer you may be disappointed. 4) The total vertical length is 'too long' but Carefree devised a neat solution, which is to provide slots to put your pegs into the ground so you can use this on uneven ground and then I rolled up the excess to create a tidy seam on the ground. 5) Once installed, you literally feel like you've added an extra room to your rig. In my application, I can now hang all my fishing gear after a day on the river, process fish, BBQ and stay warm and dry without stepping foot inside and dragging in all the mess, mud & smell. This is a great product to extend the summer camping season well into the Fall. 4 star rating reflects strong overall satisfaction on my purchase with opportunity to improve the installation instructions and that this pushed $500. You can get some remarkable tents for half the price and while I realize this is a specialty application in the end it's a bunch of fabric with zippers that is cookie cutter assembled to work to fit various lengths of awning rails...

The goods: As a simple install, it went up for the first time fairly quickly in under 30 minutes (most of the time spent reading instructions and checking which piece went where). This appears to be a well designed and constructed unit for the price. The material is light weight, yet appears strong. Now for the balancing comment: Do not expect this to be a perfect fit without some customization on your part. Not all RVs are the same. I spent the money on some 2" industrial velcro to bind some pieces together and secure to the RV for a more custom fit.Nothing difficult, just time consuming. You will need a ladder for installation and a helper would be beneficial, even though I did the initial install by myself.Take down was a snap (10 minutes tops) - the most difficult part was folding the unit to fit in the storage bag, but that was not bad.I think I could install this unit by myself in 15 minutes or so now that I know how it all fits together.I am very happy with this purchase, as it adds that extra 8'x15' room addition on the RV to give a place for kids' activities on those not so nice days and just to give a place to congregate once it gets too cool to sit outside on those fall nights in the mountains.
