Well made, heavy, fits the Casabrew espresso maker perfectly. I ordered way in advance for someone's birthday and it took a reeeeaaally long time to receive it, so I missed the birthday. Good device though.

Bought this along with my new Espresso machine from the same company, but the "lip" on it is SO BIG that even with the DOUBLE SHOT cup, I would only get a very little bit more than a SINGLE shot of espresso when using this press!The Pressure and the build quality are OUTSTANDING! It's EXTREMELY well made and looks AWESOME! Very easy to clean, but I like 2 FULL SHOTs when I want 2 FULL SHOTS and I just don't get that with this, so I returned it. Too bad, too. I really liked it.

I'd originally purchases the 53cm for my espresso coffee brewer, but needed the 51cm.This tamper is stainless, has a nice weight and works great. The plastic scoop/tamper that comes with the brewer works well too, but it is the same plastic as a plastic spoon and after a number of uses, I think it will eventually snap. I would advise anyone who buys the Casabrew espresso brewer, to buy the tamper too.

My wife and I bought this espresso tamper on a whim. The tamper that comes with the casabrews espresso maker is perfectly functional, but it's basically a plastic spoon with a flat circle on the back end.THIS tamper is simple, elegant, and very solid. I feel like a real nerd, but using this is actually sort of fun. The spring loaded mechanism lets you put pressure into the brew cup without worrying that there will be a spill of grounds as you press.Honestly, worth every penny.
