Bought this almost a year ago plus 100 Fanativita Disposable K Cup Coffee FiltersVery happy with both purchases.Especially happy the common plastic K-Cup doesn't end up in the Landfill. The virgin Filters slide out easily from the "nest" by holding them upside-downand gently tugging on the top-most folded edge. After the coffee is in my travel mug,the stainless coffee pod is easily emptied into the sink compost bin to recycle.KEEP AN EYE on the Silicone seal, when making coffee or washing it!PLEASE Love Earth, and take care of it - it's the only one we've got!Un-timely Revision:Still love this stainless CASABREWS Reusable K Cup,BUT . . . the silicon seal went down the dishwasher, so please be careful and keep an eye on yours.Gonna try using a rubber band, but meanwhile a new one was just ordered.01/19/2025 - The rubber band solution worked! I used a 1" diameter rubber band (had to slice it in half horizontally bc it was too wide) The rubber may give your coffee a slightly different flavor, as opposed to silicone, but MY ancient taste buds haven't noticed any difference.Replacement arrived in a timely manner, but will continue w the rubber band for now.Perhaps CASABREWS should include three replacement silicone seals - those Seals don't cost very much . . .

Works great! Rugged and simple design. Very easy to use. I lost the gasket that seals the lid. CASABREWS Customer Service sent me a new one, free.

Easy to clean and use. Cap is secure and makes a good cup of joe. Yeah, it's not as fast as a plastic k cup but, it sure is safe. No plastic garbage. Good quality feel. I have used for 2 weeks now and it is holding up.

Thinking about boiling hot water going through a plastic kcup made me realize that there is definitely some plastic chemicals leeching into my coffee every morning. I like this coffee pod because it’s 100% stainless steel. Since using it, my coffee even tastes better! It’s also better for the environment and it’s usually cheaper to use ground coffee instead of disposable kcups. Surprisingly, I don’t use a filter and there’s never any coffee grounds in my coffee.

Way nicer than the garbage plastic filter I had from Walmart.Easy to clean, easy to fill (1 level tbsp of grounds is perfect btw) and works like a charm.Perfect for those coffee connoisseurs who have a Keurig gifted to them from well-intentioned family, or those who just like their one cup of coffee in the morning before going off to do their thing and don't want to make a pot, but also don't want to contribute to the landfills. If you experience leakage with this, it's the seal on your machine needle and you have to adjust it a little. Gently pull the rubbery seal down the needle slightly until it's just above the angled bit of the needle, and it'll seal with this filter properly. Be careful not to pull it all the way off, as it's difficult to put back on!

This is a neat little pod that I can fill with my own coffee and have nothing to throw out - only coffee grounds for the compost. It is taking a little experimentation to get the right grind to provide a strong cup without too much sludge. I'm using a slightly finer grind than drip and pour over, not quite expresso fine. It is easy to fill, the used grounds come out easily and it clean up nice.
