I've used nylon latigos for a long time (usually Weaver or Professional's Choice) but wanted some in black and Cashel was my only option. Sent them back immediately. The nylon is rough, unfinished, and scratchy. You won't get a smooth pull on your cinch with this and if you do, there's no way there wouldn't be heat and friction. Worst part of them is the leather strings that come with to attach them to your saddle- they've got to be the thinnest, flimsiest strips of leather I've seen on any tack item. If you can get past the poor quality of the nylon itself, plan on replacing the tie strings right away because I could snap these in half with little effort.
