This was our 3rd attempt with a cone, the plastic was too hard and my can't sleep comfortably in it, the velcro cone became too hard to keep the velcro clean and fur free, so the velcro wouldn't stick. This was perfect for my senior cat. The drawstring closure, I keep it loose enough for comfort and my cat has not gotten it off. This was perfect for us.

This collar lasted a whole 3 weeks before my cat got out of it. This is the 3rd one I have bought (not This exact one). Be careful of the string. My cat has gotten his leg/paw trapped in it several times regardless of what measures I took. I did everything the company said including taking his measurements, but he still managed to get out of it. I will say that my cat seemed to be a bit more relaxed in this and comfortable. But performance wise, it definitely did not do it's job. Fit.. no, I followed everything and he still managed to get out.

I keep a “donut” on my cat to keep her from scratching and creating wounds on her face. I’ve tried almost every recovery collar offered and this one is light weight and doesn’t get soaked when she tries to drink water. It also holds up well against her vigorous scratching.

I brought a plastic cone for my kitty after her spay surgery and wanted to get her a softer one hoping it would be easier for her to maneuver around. Within 20 minutes of this being on her, she was able to find a way to start licking her scar. Have to return and hopefully I can find a soft one that she will not outsmart

Loved this product. Got it for my cat when he had an injury on his leg. We ordered this after we had initially put the plastic cone around his neck. He was much more comfortable in this and was back to being himself. He was able to eat with it and most importantly sleep. He actually used it as his pillow. It's super lightweight and easy to slip on and slip off!

We got this when we adopted a kitten and needed to make sure it couldn’t lick, etc., for his surgery, because both kids heard on social media that the original style shouldn’t be used. I was impressed by how well it was able to cinch down safely when our little guy’s neck seems too small for a lot of closures to work on. I also think that the seams are well sewn, and the material feels strong while not being rough plastic like the original style. Our big con is how heavy this soft collar is. It was nice that our 3–4-month-old kitten was able to look around without being as disoriented as I’ve had other cats with the standard e-cones, but we quickly realized that he was struggling to lift his head. I’m thankful we decided to do a presurgical test run, so we knew it wasn’t because of sedation or any other factors. I like the concept and appreciate that it isn’t some brightly colored or themed shape, but there needs to be a balance between how much the circle pads weigh and remaining effective as a non-plastic alternative, or market that it should be for older cats that may have stronger neck muscles.

After trying several other cones that were either too rigid or not big enough this is the perfect size and fabric for my poor Kitty. She had an abscess on her side and now needs to recover with a bunch of stitches for the next week. It's much more comfortable than the rigid ones yet big enough in diameter for keeping her from licking the wound. I like to joke and say that she is a Saturn Kitty. While she hates all of the cones she can at least rest her head on this one.

I bought this for my cat after her spay surgery and she seemed comfortable and did not try to take it off. It was long enough in diameter to make it very difficult for her to reach her scar, however if your cat is very bendy and persistent it may not be fully effective. It can also get pretty dirty if your cat is a messy eater. However, me and my cat liked this one much better than the inflatable donut-shaped one we got the day of her surgery.
