The only thing that could possibly make this better would be having the buttons feel they were sewn in more securely. Definitely a great feeling and fitting waist. Paired well with a pocket watch.

I am 6ft and 200lbs. I orderd the XL red vest.Perfect fit, great material and craftsmanship. I put it on right out of the package and was very happy with it.The red color is a true red/scarlet, not the dark burgandy.

Soft touchable fabric, great construction, real pockets!!! Excellent. Delicious metal buttons and, the Victorian sexy that veritably drips off of me is palpable. Worth it.

I’ll start by saying I love what this vest WILL be once I’m done making some (not too strenuous) modifications. Fabric is great, sizing is true, build is solid. Has functional exterior pockets.The cons:-double breasted to me means the ability to button up from either side, IE two full sets of button holes. This only had one. I also specifically like the look of folding back the vest on itself and wearing it open on the front, so will be adding another set of button holes.-speaking of button holes, not all of them were opened? The top one on the vest, as well as these two odd lapel button holes that have no corresponding buttons?!?-buttons are oddly small given the size of the button holes. They’re also sewn on with a weird maroon color thread, which is strange given the color matching of the fuchsia thread to fabric is otherwise very good. I may replace them anyhow, so, eh.-construction is somewhat more boxy than fitted-lapels are oddly cartoon-like in size-no inner pocket (I know… but given the overall weight and general quality of this, it feels like it should have an interior pocket)Again, none of these things are deal breakers, and if you’re prepared to make some modifications (or are okay with it as is), for the price you can’t beat it.
