I chose a wooden curtain rod to go with these mounts and I love the look but the install was a little tedious since the rod had to be through the closed rings BEFORE anchoring them to the wall. It wasn’t too bad with an extra set of hands but I totally didn’t think about the added effort to install with these being closed rings. However, it was worth it bc I love the way it turned out!

They are sturdy and do the job, but you need to keep in mind 1. There are no screws to hold the rode in place 2. the edges are really rough and screech the rode badly. We didnt even put the curtains on yet and the rode is all scratched from the installation process.

We used these for the curtains (I made the rods from spray-painted conduit) that replaced the bifold doors in the laundry room. They look great and were easy to install.
